I then changed the margins and font size to match those of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, to simulate how many pages The Order of the Phoenix would have reached had it been set up the same as The Sorcerer's Stone. I cut and pasted a bunch of "a's" into the document, until I reached 870 pages, the amount of pages in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. To estimate the length of The Order of the Phoenix, set with The Sorcerer's Stone's formatting, I opened up Microsoft Word, and created a document with the same paper size, margins and font size as The Order of the Phoenix. 875", while The Order of the Phoenix's margins were all set at. The Sorcerer's Stone had a top margin of 1.5" with a bottom, left and right margin of. They were the same, 8.875" high by 5.875" wide. I then got to wondering what other differences there were, and how those differences would impact the length of the book, as well as the value you receive based on a price per page measure of each book. The Sorcerer's Stone was set in 12 point Garamond. The new one was set in 11.5 point Garamond font. I then looked at Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I was reading the back of my new Harry Potter book, where it talks about what font was used for the book, formatting, and all that stuff.
